Inside the 764 Cult
Were you aware of the accusation against the young Leonidas Varayannis ?
However, he is widely known to the U.S. Attorney General, Pam Bondy, as well as the FBI.
The 21-year-old American, of Greek descent, appears to be accused by US authorities of being involved in the operation of an online circuit that targeted children and forced them to commit crimes of violence, self-harm, and even sexual exploitation.
He was temporarily considered a suspect and detained by authorities last May.
However, the 21-year-old, who had appeared before the Greek judicial authorities called upon to decide on his extradition request, had denied the charges, claiming, among other things, that he had simply clicked on an internet link.
This is the world-famous “764 Cult” , which, according to accusations, the young man joined around December 2023 and throughout his participation, according to sources, he lived in Greece, specifically in Thessaloniki. In fact, he is considered one of the organizers of this circuit, as it is assumed that he was in our country in search of new victims.
The 764 Network is a Satanic group focused on extremist violence.
Its main concern is attracting minors. It has been characterized as a nihilistic group, because it believes that nothing in the world is important and that no life has value. Not surprising, since these people, if we can call them that, have proven many times, again and again, that this description fits them perfectly.
One of the main reasons they engage in these heinous acts is to 'advertise' either the network itself or their personal action. They are not, however, seeking positive attention.
They blackmail children to extract sexual material from them, to force them to self-harm, while they themselves watch and cheer. They also blackmailed minors into committing inhuman acts against their pets and family members.
The way to attract minors is mainly online, using games such as Minecraft and Roblox and through apps such as Steam, Telegram and instagram.
According to the US authorities, the prototype of this group was a 15-year-old boy, Bradley Candenhead, in the state of Texas, who began to attract minors through the game of Minecraft.
Group 764 was influenced by the Satanic Order of Nine Angles, an offline network, which is a combination of Satanism, Neo-Nazism and Occultism.
The members of the 764 group are estimated at between 20 and 30 thousand, and the average age of their “targets” ranges from 9 to 17 years old.
What they want, is to cause terror and panic, to personally harm their victims and bring about disaster. Most members are teenagers, young people in their early twenties, although there are some individuals in their 30's and 40's.
In addition, they identify children in online mental health forums, targeting those who are experiencing psychological difficulties, or those who seem vulnerable, disconnected from the rest, who, for example, may have been bullied.
They impersonate their friends or even their mates in order to attract them. They also have 'Handbooks' and 'Guides' of over 240 pages on how to approach them, which members share with each other.
It is something that seems to be present in Greece as well, which is why it is necessary to be further investigated by the Greek police authorities and the competent cybercrime agencies.
Personally, I cannot imagine how something so important, concerning our children, the future of our society and our country, has not come to light and has not been discussed, at least, on the TV channels, while abroad the case has caused intense publicity and is widely discussed internationally.
There are over 250 active investigations by the FBI, which has designated the group as a Domestic Terrorist Organization, and briefing presentations have been made at Europol conferences.
It is therefore necessary to be especially careful about children and their online presence. They need constant updating, supervision and open communication so that they can recognize risks, protect themselves from malicious users and feel safe when using the internet.
